AMAZING DOG

A week before her surgery. After we got up in the morning she took over our place. She likes to lay in bed, on my husband's pillow.
Her tummy is bald, because the Vet had her tummy shaved for an Ultra Sound.
She lay on the floor since her surgery, as she can't jump up in bed.


Our dog Kyra just had a surgery 5 days ago, we noticed a lump on her leg that grows rapidly. We took her to the Vet a week ago to have her leg checked. The Dr. said she was afraid that it would develop to a Cancer, and suggested that the lump need to be removed. My husband and I were so worried, and w/o thinking twice how much it cost us, we agreed to the Vet suggestion. The surgery cost wasn't a joke, excluding the medications and bandage change every 2 days. We love our dog so much that we don't want to see her suffer someday. My husband and I knew that it was worth to spend the surgery cost, because Kyra is such a very good dog. A day after her surgery, we couldn't sleep at night, because she was in so much pain. She just want us to stay beside her. Every time we went back to bed she cried, so we have to get up and patted her tummy. My husband took a day off on the following day to look after her, because I have to work, and we didn't want to leave her alone. Since she couldn't walk, up and down the stairs after the 2nd day from her surgery, my husband had to carry her up and down the stairs. That made me so worried because Kyra is too heavy, she weighs 67lbs. Though she didn't want to be carried as she refused when hubby tried, but she knew she couldn't help it. When it comes for her time to potty, we put a pads on the Carpet so that she can just potty inside the house. But amazingly, she didn't want to make a mess in the house, so she really tried her best to go outside, even though she was struggling. We were really amazed, of what she did. After 3 days, she was more amazing, she surprised me that she went up the stairs by herself looking for me. She was downstairs, and I was upstairs using the bathroom, when she suddenly pop up in the bathroom. Hubby and I were very happy of her speedy recovery, and we both say that whatever we spent for Kyra's surgery was been paid off. We both thank God that Kyra survived the operation. I can't explain how much we love her, she is just so amazing.
