Time flies very fast and tomorrow marks our 1 year of marriage. I feel so happy that we have come this far, and feeling more in love to each other. I know we still have a long way to go, but to achieve a 1 year of marriage and there's no hang ups, I can say through out this year our marriage is still strong, that really means a lot to me. I admit that I envied to those friends of mine that already married for 8 or 15 years . I wish I have found my husband 10 years ago, but whatever, I am very glad and thankful from above that fate brought us together, in this life time. It is very natural for a couple to have a misunderstanding sometimes, and it is up to us how we gonna handle it. In my entire year of marriage, I confess that hubby and I had misunderstandings and disagreements, the good thing about my husband is he doesn't turn his back on me, whenever we had a misunderstanding. We work together for it, until we resolve the things that causes us both pains. We always reminded ourselves that we love each other, and how much efforts we made in the past for us to be together. I didn't see anything about the bad side of my husband. So far he treats me very well, more than I expected to be treated. Though sometimes I feel neglected, when he is so busy at work, and we don't have time to communicate. Whenever I feel this way, I always tell him about my feelings, and he would make up for it. So this way we are more open to each other and understand each other's feelings. I always pray, to have a long lasting marriage.
Though the difinite date of our anniversary will be tomorrow ( August 26) but we celebrated it last Saturday August 23, @ CIMR, the reason for celebrating it in advance, is because saturday is more convenient day for all of our friends. Hubby planned for this celebration because when I first got here in the U.S. I didn't have any friends, and we didn't have any reception for our wedding. Since time goes by, and I made a circle of friends for more than a year here in Colorado, so hubby suggested it will be nice to celebrate our 1st wedd. anniversary. It wasn't a big celebration, but both of us with hubby, are happy that most of my friends which I first met and newly friends were able to join us. Hubby and I, are hoping that all of our friends who were there to celebrate with us on that day, were having a good time, and they had enough to eat. We are both very grateful for all the bunch of gifts you gave to us, they are all awesome. Most of all we want to thank you for the time you made to be with us on this special day of ours. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU, and MORE ANNIVERSARIES FOR US TO COME IN THE FUTURE!
