PLAYING WITH KYRA

Our dog Kyra made us laughed last night. She sleep in our bed with us early at night, but she jump down and sleep on the floor when she noticed, that me and my husband are already sleeping. I gave a back rub to my husband last night while talking about Kyra's birthday. We are planning to throw a birthday party for her on her 1oth birthday. She knew that we were talking about her, she came to us and lay her head on my husband's pillow, listening with our conversation. I asked my husband that isn't it carzy to throw a party for Kyra? My husband's reply was, who cares? our point anyway is just to have fun with friends. I was kiddingly talking to Kyra about her birthday, and she was rolling all over the bed and wiggle her tail. But the moment I said to her that, is it ok Kyra not to throw a party for you? She pushed me using her head, and turned her back on me. And that acting of her made us amused, because she acted like a real child. I tried to hug her and say sorry, but she didn't care about me, instead she came to my husband and put one of her legs on my husband's arm and looking at him so sad. We were laughing again, so my husband was telling her, that I am just joking, and of course we are gonna have a party for her. So she started wiggling her tail again and licked us.

It is just so amazing that dogs understand, though they couldn't communicate to us. But as I read from one of the articles on the net, that Golden Retrievers are very smart dogs. We do love our Kyra that we treated her like a real baby. She is such a very good dog. She knows when my husband is coming home, once she heard the garage open, she will immediately run to the family room and wait for my husband to open the family room door which is attach in our garage. Since I can't take her outside to wait for my husband during winter, because it's freezing.

We ganna have a celebration of Kyra's b-day at Chucke cheese! I hope they accept dogs there....!
