FIRST DAY AT WORK

God works in mysterious way! I went to work this morning, and thanks God that my schedule works out the way I wanted. I will work 4 days a week 6 a to 6p, but I will work one Saturday every month, and my husband is fine with it. I am so thankful that he finally support after all. We woke up at 5 a.m. washed up and get ready everything to leave. I need to be at work 15 minutes before 6. He dropped me off, and he then headed to his work. He picked me up at 6p.m., when I came out he already outside waiting for me. He has to go along with my schedule, because he doesn't like to be home once I'm gone for work.

For my first day, it was really tiring because I have so much to learn. I have to take care of 4 residents, answer the phone, keep track of their meals and so on. Today I was trained by the manager, until Friday. Next week I won't be going to work not until friday, because I have a Qmap Class in Northglenn. I need to be Qmap certified in order to administer medication. So far my first day at work was interesting. I was be able to communicate with all the residents, after lunch I manicured one of the residents, and played scrabble after. We all had fun, we watch T.V. together and tell jokes to each other. When I took off this evening, 2 of the residents, were telling me that they were looking forward for me on friday to play bingo and scrabble with them. I am just hoping that I will learn everything, because there's a lot to be remembered.

Right now, I am sitting with my husband in the living room, watching a hockey game. I do need to reply some calls that I missed today, but I have to respect our time together. Earlier I was on the phone, and that was the first time he gave me a signal because he wants me to spend time with him. I do understand him, since we didn't talk on the phone the whole day.

I think this all for now, I have to watch a movie with my husband. The hockey game just over, and the Avalanche won...Yehey! Good night my friends!
