DAY OFF

I took a day off today since I have some packages that were stranded for 3 days. The house needs cleaning too, plus I have to leave feedback for our buyers. Yesterday when I came home from work I was really tired. After I ate my dinner, I didn't realized that I fell a slept on my husband's lap, and that was only 8:00 p.m. He woke me up after the Olympic show. Days goes like that, sometimes I am busy at work and sometimes it's not. Yesterday was kind of crazy at my work place. I was so busy from the time I got in the morning, till my shift ended in the evening. One of the residents wasn't happy during lunch time, she didn't eat at all. I have to do something to cheer her up, and thanks God I made her smile and laughed, and convinced her to eat something. I gave her a banana muffin that I made for breakfast. A few residents complained about each other, and I have to do something for it. I can say that my job isn't easy at all, but I do enjoy what I am doing and I think that matters. In the evening before my administrator left, she thanked me for what I did, and telling me that I did a great job for the residents. When your employer appreciates in everything you have done, that really counts a lot, and your hard work is finally paid off.

Today as my day off, I have loads of work to do at home. My husband worked at home this morning, and I finally finished all my packaging for him to take to the post office. We don't want to stop doing our little business online, because we do have a lot of items to sale. After lunch, I will start rocking, by cleaning the entire hut. I think it is almost 2 weeks that I haven't vacuum the carpet. I try my best to maintain to change the bed sheets once a week, and washed the bathrooms once a week, instead of everyday, as I used to do before. I don't have that much time on my hand now, since I started working. Amazingly despite of me being fully occupied at work, I still have time to do the laundry at home twice a week, that doesn't change. In the long run, I am enjoying my lifestyle now, being busy. I like when me and my husband go to work at the same time in the morning, and come home together in the evening. Though, we are both busy, we still have time for each other and I still have time to prepare his meal. We work hand in hand, and I always pray that will always work our time together.

I should close for now, to start doing my routine. After doing the chores, I have to spend time with Kyra too. She needs hair brushing. That's it, and baboooo!
