HELPING MY FAMILY

I called my family back home last night, and happened to talk to my brother first. The first thing he told me that they've been waiting for my call. Yeah! it's been almost a month that I haven't called them, since we started moving and felt very tired most of the time. I called them last night to let them know that my bana had sent some money for them 5 days ago, since they didn't know about it, so the money is still waiting to be drawn from the bank. My brother then asked some favor from me, because his wife is going to Canada. My sister in-law's Aunt helped her to get to Canada inorder to work there. They want help financially, the expenses while she stay in Manila to wait for her Visa. Back in 2007 my bana wasted his money to helped my sister in-law for her placement fee and Air ticket with some other expenses, when she applied to HK and nothing happened because she broke her contract and went back home. I don't really mind helping my family if it's in good cause. I don't want them to take advantage of my husband's kindness. So everytime I talk to my family, my bana usually asked me what we were talking about with my family. In my mind I don't want to tell him about it, about helping my sister in-law. The other side of my mind was telling me not to hide something to my husband. If I will help my family secretly, w/0 my husband's knowledge, am afraid that it might cause a trouble once he knew about it. Though he never check my bank account regularly, but as the saying goes, "that truth always comes out" I don't want to take a chance. So while we were in bed, he asked if there's anything that I wanted to tell him. I said nothing, and he continued saying, come on sweety, I know there's something that you wanted to tell me. My bana is really good when it comes reading my mind, so I decided to open up with him. First I asked him if he doesn't mind using my savings to help my sister in-law. He told me that we already did help her before and it didn't work out. I told him that I will talk to my sis in-law's Aunt if everything's true that she is helping her to get to Canada. My bana then said to find out with my sister in-law how much she needs, coz he is willing to help. I am completely relieved, and thank God so much that my bana is really understanding. Since we bought a house, we are kind of tight financially at this moment, lots of bills to pay, but somehow my bana still understand my family. He even told me last night that he really wants my father to visit us. I was telling him that not at this time, not until I started working, inorder to be fair with him and his daughter. He said that it doesn't make sense why wait until I get a job if we can ask my father to come now? I strongly told him not now because I am not yet ready, I want to learn how to drive first so that I can drive my father around, or he might get bored. I finally found a good excuse to make him believe. But actually I want to get a job before I ask my father to come here.
