Last night we went to the Colorado Sounds recording studio that own by one of our friends, Kevin and Sharon. Few months ago this couple gave us a recording gift certificate for our wedding anniversary. Last night was really a blast for hubby, he was so happy and very much excited when we got there. He loves music so much and so do I, infact I joined a singing competition when I was 11 years old. I was descouraged and stopped singing after I lost the depending champion during the monthly final, when I was 15 years old. I was so upset by losing to an 8 year old boy, it was so embarrassing to me, since then I forgot about music. Now that I start to love music again, I can tell that I really have a crappy voice after a long time with out practicing since I was 15.
By the way, back about last night at the recording studio, hubby couldn't stop saying these words "this is really cool" especially after seeing all the equipment at the studio, they are all awesome and very proffessional. It was a first time for hubby to be at the recording studio, while I've been in a different recording studios when I was a child during auditions, but I've never seen such an awesome instruments like I've seen last night in every corner at the Colorado Sound Studio. Well, in today's generation with all the amazing gadgets that we have now, compared to the old fashioned type, it's really a big difference. To make a recording in the studio, the price isn't a joke, you can ask Sharon about it. We are lucky to have it for free, hmmmmp, I was ashamed that we had an overtime, I am really really sorry about that Sha. After hubby done singing, Sharon gave us a tour, and we saw all these big time and proffessional singers that made a recording at their studio. Hubby was shocked!
Hubby and I couldn't wait to hear his (Album) hehehhe CD....so we played it in the jeep on the way home, and after we got home, and many times this morning. I like listening to it, so when hubby is at work, and if I missed him, I can just play it in our bed room and listen to his voice it helps to ease my boringness, coz it makes me smile.
We are both very thankful to Kevin and Sharon for the hospitality and patience they had shown to us last night. Thank you very very much to both of you, from the bottom of our hearts.
