KARAOKE MACHINE

One of my husband's hobbies is buying an electronics. He is kind of tired with our JBK karaoke machine, because it wouldn't play a CD-R. So he was browsing the net to look a new model. He finally found one that plays CD-R. Since the price is $199.00 so I thought it wasn't that expensive for 3 in 1, and we can still keep the JBK, since this machine has a lot of songs in it, compare to a new one that he is going to buy. While he was in the shower, I was browsing the net hoping to find cheaper than $199.00. But instead I came across the site that selling this type of KM which drew my attention. I was so excited while telling to hubby all the features of this KM. It holds almost 11,000 English songs alone, and almost 4,000 tagalog songs, and other languages. When he came out from the shower, he checked it out, and he was impressed with all the features in it. He said this KM what exactly he was looking for, when we checked the price, no kidding I was devastated because it is $600.00. He almost paid through paypal, when I started showing him my grouchy face, he was so upset. I reminded him, when we first bought the Magic Sing, we only used for 3 months and he decided to buy the JBK, and we only have this Machine for 5 months, and now he wants to buy another model again? I said if he would sell the JBK and the Madonna Concert Tickets, then I don't feel bad if he will buy the new KM. He made a deal with me, if I agreed to let him buy the new KM, he will give me a cash equivalent for the KM price as a christmas present. But I don't like the deal he offered, because it makes me guilty. I am confused because I don't want him to buy the new Karaoke Machine, and at the same time I don't want to see him unhappy. I don't know if it is right to stop him from buying the things that he likes, after all he is the only one working. I knew he isn't happy, he woke up this morning looking at the new KM on the net again. I felt very guilty. I guess I will talk with him when he comes home in the evening, and let him decide, if he really wants to buy it.
